Just arrived back home from a wonderful trip to Seattle WA. Wonderful in many ways, but one was because it RAINED! I live in New Mexico and have not seen any real measurable amount of rain since December 2010. While in Seattle, I took a day trip to the San Juan Islands near Anacortes WA to go whale watching out of Friday Harbor. I saw the Orca’s playing, porpoises cresting, Sea Lions laying around, Harbor Seals curiously watching us watch them, Bald Eagles, amongst many other beautiful creatures.
So, just wanted to share footage I took and a few of my pictures taken while out on the Strait de Juan de Fuca, and the bays in the islands. I was truly in natures Nirvana.

In closing, my heart was saddened as I passed a horrible Shell Oil Refinery to and from Anacortes. I do not wish to post political on this site, so you may view more on my other blog. Our Dependence on Oil. Man versus Nature.
